Woont in Maastricht, werkt in België.

Maakt schilderijen en sinds 1980 kleurhoutsneden.

De houtsneden genieten een grote verspreiding en zorgden mede voor een opleving van deze grafische techniek. Hij drukte prenten in oplage o.a. voor de Bank nederlandse gemeenten, Imtech, Dsm, het Bouwfonds limburg, de Knp, stichting de Opbouw in Amsterdam, Royal nederland, Allianz verzekeringen, de Verein für Originalradierung in München en de gemeente Maastricht.

Naast vrij werk, maakt hij portretten in opdracht waarvan het bekendste wellicht het portret van oud gouverneur J. Kremers in opdracht van de provincie Limburg.

Exposeerde in het Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht, het Gemeinde museum in Erfurt, het Haus der Kunst in München, de Gesellschaft für aktuelle Kunst in Bremen, het Singermuseum in Laren, het Domein in Sittard, het National theatre in London en in galerieën in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Frankfurt en München, Aachen, Maastricht en tal van andere plaatsen.

Het werk bevind zich in openbare collecties waaronder die van Dsm, de ING bank, het Bonnefantenmuseum, het Twents museum, de provincie Limburg, Essent, en tal van particuliere collecties.

Hield lezingen en gaf grafiek workshops op de ABK in Maastricht, en gaf daar als interim- docent een jaar lang schilderlessen.

Mede oprichter en organisator van tentoonstellingen in het Maastrichtse kunstenaars centrum “Het Bassin” in 1983 en 84.

Schreef en publiceerde twee boeken over de Entomologie voor vliegvissers: Wondervliegen.

Is a painter who since 1980 also creates colored woodcuts.

The woodcuts enjoy a large spread and made part of a revival of this graphical technique. He pressed prints in circulation for the Bank Dutch municipalities, Imtech, Dsm, the Fund Limburg, the KNP, the Foundation Building in Amsterdam, Royal Netherlands, Allianz Insurance, the Verein für Originalradierung in Munich and the municipality of Maastricht.

Besides free work, he commissioned portraits which the best known is probably the portrait of former Governor J. Kremers commissioned by the Province of Limburg.

Exhibited in the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht, the Gemeinde Museum in Erfurt, the Haus der Kunst in Munich, the Gesellschaft für aktuelle Arts in Bremen, the Singer Museum in Laren, the Domain in Sittard, the National Theatre in London and in galleries in Amsterdam, Utrecht , Frankfurt and Munich, Aachen, Maastricht and many other places.

The work is located in public collections including those of Dsm, ING Bank, the Bonnefantenmuseum, Twents museum, the province of Limburg, Essent, and numerous private collections.

Lectured and gave workshops on graphic work at the ABK Maastricht, and gave as an interim teacher for one year painting lessons.

Co-founder and organizer of exhibitions in the Maastricht artists center "Basin" in 1983 and 84.

Wrote and published two books on Entomology for fly fishermen: Wondervliegen.
